Photo Album: Attic insulation and Energy Savings in Saint Clairsville, OH
Owner Susan H. in Saint Clairsville, OH called us to improve the comfort of the upstairs of his home and she wanted to lower her energy costs.
During an Energy Analysis Mark O found several areas of the home that once improved would dramatically improve the comfort and utility costs.
Foreman Mike Y. and his team air sealed the attic and properly insulated with TruSoft cellulose insulation to R60 to give the optimum results. There were several large openings in the attic that were air sealed and insulated as well. In the basement the team insulated the rim joist with SilverGlo insulation and foam insulation.
The owner said that she could feel a big difference from the first day we were finished with the job. She is looking forward to seeing the savings on her utility costs.
