Photo Album: Insulating Exterior Walls in McMurray, PA
McMurray, PA customer Elizabeth B. was experiencing cold drafty rooms and high energy bills in her raised ranch home. Home Environment Solutions certified home comfort specialist Mark O. did a full home evaluation. Using his thermal imaging camera he discovered that this home had no insulation in its exterior walls. It wasn't common practice for contractors to insulate exterior walls in homes built before 1950. We run into this problem all the time at HES. Good thing all of our employees and technicians are thoroughly trained at a state-of-the-art facility with about 40,000 sq. ft. of hands-on-educational displays, including an entire replica training home. The facility is the first of its kind and to date the largest in the U.S.
