Our Process:

Before cleaning the attic, any rodent infestation should be removed by trapping. Once the infestation is gone, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends waiting 5 days before beginning cleanup. 

We follow the CDC's guidelines for handling mouse droppings and urine in the attic. We typically:

• Spray urine, droppings and nesting materials with a disinfectant to prevent the spread of airborne bacteria
• Spray attic floor with disinfectant
• Remove contaminated insulation
• Install blown-in insulation or another attic insulation material

During the cleanup and restoration process, our technicians always wear protective clothing and keep the area well ventilated.
