Home owners Donald and Ginny had comfort issues in their home. The told Mark that they had already insulated their attic the year before and they thought the needed insulation in their walls. Mark did a full inspection of their home and attic and discovered that the insulation has been incorrectly installed in their attic which caused a severe moisture problem and resulted in attic mold.
Our Certified Mold Remediators came and removed the attic mold and all of the improperly installed insulation. Following the remediation crew leader Mike Y and his team properly air sealed the entire attic and insulated to R60 with TruSoft Cellulose insulation.
The end result was a healthy home that is much more comfortable and efficient and very happy home owners.
High energy bills and a need for clean storage lead this Bethel Park, PA customer to Home Environment Solutions. After doing a free full home energy audit, HES discovered insufficient and deteriorating fiberglass insulation in the attic. This is no surprise, the North American Insulation Manufacturer Association (NAIMA) says that 90% of all single family homes are under insulated.
HES cleaned out the old deteriorating insulation, air sealed, and insulated using Tru-Soft Cellulose Insulation. Particle board was used to dam the insulation and create clean storage for this customer.

Joe called Home Environment Solutions to have the insulation upgraded in his Wexford, PA home. The HES team and removed the existing insulation with the truck mounted vacuum. The team then got the attic ready for the new insulation by air sealing it and installing both a scuttle cover and TiteShell light covers. The last step was to insulate the attic floor with TruSoft Cellulose. The new attic insulation will keep Joe's home more comfortable all year long.
