This Pittsburgh, PA customer was experiencing cold and drafty rooms directly above his crawl space. His fiberglass bats had soaked up moisture and were failing to adequately insulate his home. Our production team closed this customers crawlspace vents, insulated, and encapsulated using our SilverGlo insulation board and CleanSpace liner.

We set her up with an appointment with Russ to evaluate her home and perform a free home energy audit. Russ found loose insulation. places with no insulation and unsealed scuttle cover, wire and pipe runs.
Our insulation team went out and disposed of any old , loose insulation and prepared attic for fresh clean insulation. They air sealed the area between two ceiling levels in the attic, installed Silverglo foamboard on vertical walls between levels and sealed all gaps with expanding air sealing foam. Air sealed and insulated scuttle cover. Installed super knee wall. Air sealed and insulated roof and super knee wall. Applied Trusoft cellulose to attic floor.

We sent our expert Russ out to her home to perform a free home energy audit. Russ found old batt insulation, a non-insulated scuttle cover and unsealed penetrations such as wire and pipe runs.
We sent our insulation team out and they removed all the old batt insulation and disposed of it, they removed whole house fan and installed 1/2 drywall over opening, insulated between two ceiling levels with Silverglo foam board insulation on vertical walls between levels and air sealed gaps with Zypfoam. They also sealed and insulated scuttle cover, air sealed all penetrations interior and exterior and installed Trusoft cellulose.
